A skilled chef whose hobbies include collecting 1940s and 1950s cookbooks, Carolyn has a knack for faithfully recreating the historic dishes and recipes featured in SRE’s menus. She has worked aboard private railcars for over ten years.

Rudy has over decade of experience in railroad operations and marketing, specifically in the private car industry. His passion for railroad history and research is the driving force behind the unique historically-inspired menus, excursions, and adventures that SRE creates. The author of seven railroad history books and a collector of historic railroad recipes, Rudy is also an experienced chef and railroad mechanic.
